Angelica is a down-to-earth archaeologist determined to prove her late mother’s theory; Quint is an inscrutable photojournalist bent on fulfilling a promise to dig up the truth behind an old friend’s mysterious death. Both are trying to unearth secrets in the sweltering Mexican jungle that have been long buried, but an ancient Maya curse threatens to destroy both of them unless they can learn to trust each other enough to make it out of the jungle alive.
