Not sure whether to suspect the deadbeat dad who showed up to woo his kid’s heart and steal her inheritance, the two shifty-eyed barflys with mall-bought cowboy hats, or one of the other new faces in town, Claire worries about turning her back on anyone. Her fear for her life runs neck and neck with her fear of commitment while her period plays hide and seek. She can’t take care of herself, let alone a baby. With her boyfriend, Mac, due to arrive soon, her older sister running from the past, and her younger sister running from the future, all it takes is a surprise visit from Claire’s mom to blow her world to bits.
